Common problems

  • Air leak at coupling, intake cap, bleeder, or gasket.
  • Strainer too shallow, blocked, or pulling a whirlpool.
  • Primer not operating long enough or primer oil/seal problem.
  • Lift too high for conditions.
  • Engine RPM increased before a solid prime is established.
